We have Room for you – Come Join Incarnation’s Music Ministry 

The Sunday Adult Choir sings weekly alternating between the 9:00 and 10:30 Masses and rehearses each Wed. at 7:00 pm. Knowing how to read music is not required, just a willingness to sing. We are really looking to expand our numbers so please consider at least giving us a try. We would greatly enjoy having you sing with us.

The Children’s Choir is open to all students in grades 3-8; weekly rehearsals are on Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. We have a lot of fun learning to read music and to sing in two and three part harmony. We sing for liturgies about every three weeks and sing a variety of sacred and secular music at various other venues. Our numbers are growing each year. Please encourage your child to at least give us a try. There’s nothing to lose and a lot to gain.   

The Youth Choir is for all high school singers and instrumentalists. This choir sings about once a month at the Saturday 5:30 pm or Sunday 12:00 noon Mass. We rehearse about an hour prior to the Mass they will sing. We have lots of great high school singers and instrumentalists in our parish involved in their high school music programs. Let’s give some of that great talent back to God.  

Nearer To God Band: These are the dedicated musicians who provide the music for the Sunday Masses in the Parish Center. They always welcome singers and instrumentalists. 

Do you play an instrument? Trumpet, trombone, violin, flute, etc? We are always looking for instrumentalists capable of reading music well and able to hold their own part. Please let me know if you are interested in playing for Masses.   

Please prayerfully consider joining one of our choirs or playing at Mass. Incarnation Parish has a very vibrant music program but we are always looking to enhance it with as many parishioners as possible. We definitely have room for you and ask that you at least give us a try.  St. Augustine is quoted as having said “He who sings, prays twice.”
